ARTIST'S STATEMENT

I have been working in the field of ceramics since 1991, creating my "contemporary artifacts" primarily with high-fired porcelain clay and glazes. The inspiration and influence for my work are drawn from classic Asian designs and landscapes, which I feel lend an air of tranquility and timelessness to my art.

I think of my pieces as "intuitive storytellers" that I hope will take the viewer on a journey through time and place and create a feeling of peaceful sanctuary.
