ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Tanija and Graham Carr are Australian artists, both former architects who have been working in collaboration for over 25 years. Working primarily in the medium of leather, they produce small to large sculptural forms with the ambiguity of form, surface and material, being central to the work. The labour intensive nature of the work allows for the production of only 8 - 10 pieces per year. The artists have been exhibiting in the United States, with 7 solo exhibitions over the past 12 years.
